We're here to give you a voice about Health & Social Care in Blackpool

Governance of the LINk

Blackpool LINk has a governance structure that ensures that our work is accountable to local people.

The LINk is hosted by Groundwork Lancashire West & Wigan. That means the staff members are employed by Groundwork.

However the LINk as a whole is reponsible to and held accountable to its members in the local area – both individuals and organisations.

An Advisory Group represents the wider LINk membership and reports back to that membership.

The number of places for representatives on the Advisory Group is sixteen. The balance between individuals and group representatives is equal. The balance between health and social care areas of interest representation is equal. The Advisory Group is further divided into thematic areas in order to appropriately cover all aspects of activities. Representatives hold office for two years.

The Group also has subgroups and taskgroups.
