Hospital After Care
Blackpool LINk wrote to NHS Blackpool and Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - the concern is that as funding has been withdrawn from Age Concern Blackpool and District, older patients and those with physical difficulties will become more vulnerable when discharged from hospital.

What is the process for patients to get their names changed?

South King Street Practice
A patient attended South King Street Practice for her flu jab. When she arrived, the queue was outside the practice as other patients were attending the morning surgery as well as patients attending for their flu jab.

Whitegate Health Centre
On Monday 5 September 2011, members of Blackpool LINk went into Whitegate Health Centre from 8am until 8pm. We asked patients to complete a short questionnaire, as we wanted to find out what effect to people’s health the difficulties with transport services to Whitegate Health Centre may have.

Smoke Alarm Fire Education Roadshow
Between 11am and 5pm this Saturday (January 21st) all Lancashire Fire Stations will be open to the public for people to collect a free 10 year smoke alarm and fire safety guidance, as well as being able to book a free Home Fire Safety Check.
