Blackpool Teaching Hospitals Newsletter – Health Matters Edition 2
BLACKPOOL Teaching Hospitals has launched a new fortnightly news bulletin to keep patients and the public informed about the work taking place across the local health service.
The electronic newsletter, called Health Matters, will be produced every two weeks and will be available online or sent via e-mail to your inbox. It will include several of our latest news stories and include features such as real patient stories. It will also include dates for your diary of forthcoming events such as members seminars or health promotion events and highlight how you can get involved as a volunteer of a fundraiser.
We are always looking at ways to engage with our local community and as valued stakeholders and partners we have included you on the distribution list to keep you informed about the fantastic work going on in the Trust to improve healthcare for our local population.
We want to share this newsletter with as many people as possible so please feel free to encourage others to sign up to receive the newsletter.
This edition includes news on the new children's unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital and positive stories including how
staff saved a woman's leg from amputation by their quick thinking actions.
The magazine can be downloaded here http://www.bfwh.nhs.uk/healthmatters/docs/Health%20Matters%20-%20Jan%2027th%202012.pdf.
You can also sign up to receive a regular copy into your inbox by registering at www.bfwh.nhs.uk/healthmatters
If you do not wish to be sent this newsletter in the future please e-mail communications@bfwh.nhs.uk and your contact will be removed.
