Get Involved - Valuing the Patient Experience
Would you like to be part of a unique programme to improve patient experience of NHS Hospital Care in the Blackpool area?
Have you got a few hours a month for a few months to help deliver this programme?
The aims of the programme are to ensure that Junior Doctors & Medical Students learn from your experience as a patient:-
- To develop a greater understanding of what it is like to be a patient from a patient’s real experience and perspective.
- To understand how systems / process in health care can affect patients experience management and treatment and health care outcomes.
- To be aware of a patient’s life circumstances that affect a patients experience in their healthcare journey.
- To identify ways they can influence and improve the health care experiences of patients in the future.
